Different systems are designed for different refrigerants. Common examples include R32 and R410A in air-conditioning applications, R134a and R1234yf in automotive A/C, and several specialist blends in commercial refrigeration.

R32

R32 is used in many modern air-conditioning and heat-pump systems designed for it. View R32 Refrigerant.

R410A

R410A is associated with many air-conditioning and heat-pump systems designed for the blend. View R410A Refrigerant.

R134a

R134a is widely associated with automotive A/C and refrigeration applications designed for it. View R134a Refrigerant.

R1234yf

R1234yf is used in many newer automotive air-conditioning systems designed for it. View R1234yf Refrigerant.

Always check the equipment or vehicle specification. Do not choose a refrigerant solely because another product appears to have a similar use.
